SCHEME OF THE CHARITY COMMISSION DATED 1 JUNE 2009
Gwrthrychau elusennol
1. (A) TO PRESERVE THE FABRIC AND THE GROUNDS OF GLASTONBURY ABBEY RUINS FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT; AND
(B) TO USE GLASTONBURY ABBEY TO ADVANCE RELIGION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DOCTRINES OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND; AND
(C) TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN THE HISTORIC AND RELIGIOUS IMPORTANCE OF GLASTONBURY ABBEY (INCLUDING THE SKILLS AND LEARNING ASSOCIATED WITH IT)
2. THE GROUNDS OF GLASTONBURY ABBEY RUINS MUST BE RETAINED BY THE TRUSTEE FOR USE FOR THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY.
