1) THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY OF PRIMARILY (BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY) YOUNG PEOPLE AND CHILDREN BY PROVIDING GRANTS AND DONATIONS TO INDIVIDUALS IN NEED AND/OR CHARITIES OR OTHER ORGANISATIONS WORKING TO PREVENT OR RELIEVE POVERTY FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT. WAYS OF CARRYING OUT OBJECT 1 UNDERTAKING ANY SUCH MEASURES THAT MAY BE REQUIRED TO MEET THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO,: (I) ORGANISING AND PARTICIPATING IN SPONSORED CHARITY SPORTING EVENTS. (II) ORGANISING CHARITY BALLS (AND SIMILAR EVENTS) AND RAISING MONEY BY WAY OF TICKET SALES, SELLING RAFFLE TICKETS AND THE PROCEEDS OF CHARITY AUCTION SALES OF DONATED GIFTS. (III) BY MAKING DONATIONS OF THE PROCEEDS RAISED BY THE ACTIVITIES SET OUT ABOVE TO CARERS AND ORGANISATIONS SUPPORTING PRIMARILY (BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY) YOUNG PEOPLE AND CHILDREN SUFFERING FROM POVERTY OR IN NEED. 2) THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS AND SICKNESS-RELATED POVERTY OF PRIMARILY (BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY) YOUNG PEOPLE AND CHILDREN BY PROVIDING GRANTS AND DONATIONS TO INDIVIDUALS IN NEED AND/OR CHARITIES OR OTHER ORGANISATIONS WORKING TO PREVENT OR RELIEVE SICKNESS AND SICKNESS-RELATED POVERTY.
