4.1 The charity's objects ("Objects") are specifically restricted to the following: To advance education, health and well-being, and community development, for the public benefit, in particular children, young people and adults living in Derbyshire, whatever their age, gender, religion or ability, by: ? providing cricket based education and community education under six pillars of activity (sport, health, education, heritage, social inclusion, and arts and culture); ? the promotion of community participation in healthy recreation, in particular by the provision of facilities for the playing of cricket and multi-sport activities to improve health and wellbeing; ? promoting a positive learning environment that builds confidence, self-esteem and ambition to succeed; ? establishing projects and activities that involve and engage with the local community and improve community cohesion; ? advancing cricket talent pathways as well as empowering leaders, coaches and volunteers; ? promoting the heritage of the local community and cricket in the county; ? serving as the local governing body for Recreational Cricket in Derbyshire; adapting and adopting local policies, in line with national directives and rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB); ? the representation and advancement of the requirements of Derbyshire cricket at both regional and national levels; ? the promotion of effective channels of communication on behalf of those playing Recreational Cricket in Derbyshire.
