To provide or assist in the provision of facilities for sport and other recreational or leisure time occupation in the interests of social welfare of the residents of the village of Thurston in Suffolk, and the wider community who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, financial hardship or social circumstances, or for the public at large with the object of improving their conditions of life.
