TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT GOOD HEALTH FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY: - 1. ADVANCING THE EDUCATION OF PERSONS BORN IN AFRICA, INDIA, PAKISTAN, BANGLADESH OR THE ISLANDS OF THE CARIBBEAN OR THE DESCENDANTS OF SUCH PERSONS, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY IN RELATION TO CARDIOVASCULAR RELATED ILLNESSES AND OTHER RELATED ILLNESSES BY PROVIDING ONGOING SUPPORT, ADVICE, AND COUNSELLING TO HELP REDUCE HEALTH INEQUALITIES;2 BHC CONSTITUTION BHC 19/05/2021; 2. DEVELOPING STRATEGIES AND CONTRIBUTING TO CLINICAL GUIDELINES THAT WILL PROMOTE THE PARTICIPATION AND INVOLVEMENT OF UNDERREPRESENTED GROUPS IN TREATMENTS, SELF-CARE AND MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLBEING PARTICULARLY FOR THE BENEFIT OF PEOPLE ETHNIC MINORITY COMMUNITIES THROUGH THE PROVISION OF SUPPORT, RESEARCH AND INFORMATION AND ASSISTING IN THE PROMULGATION OF EFFECTIVE POLICIES AND GOOD PRACTICE THAT IMPACTS ON ETHNIC MINORITY COMMUNITIES; 3. PROMOTING, ORGANISING, AND FACILITATING CO-OPERATION AND PARTNERSHIP WORKING BETWEEN CHARITIES, STATUTORY BODIES AND OTHER RELEVANT NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANISATIONS IN THE ACHIEVEMENT OF THE ABOVE OBJECT 4. INCREASING PUBLIC AND MEDICAL AWARENESS THROUGH EDUCATIONAL CAMPAIGNS, THE PUBLICATION OF NEWSLETTERS, BOOKS AND PAMPHLETS AND THE ARRANGING OF CONFERENCES, SEMINARS, AND OTHER APPROPRIATE MEETINGS; 5. UTILISING MEMBERS AND OTHER HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS' SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE TO FACILITATE SAFER AND MORE EFFECTIVE HEALTHCARE IN ENGLAND AND WALES; 6. COLLABORATING WITH OTHER HEALTHCARE AND PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS IN THE UNITED KINGDOM, OTHER COMMONWEALTH COUNTRIES AND NON-COMMONWEALTH COUNTRIES; TO IMPROVE HEALTHCARE STANDARDS AND UTILISE ANY GLOBAL RESEARCH; 7. COLLABORATING WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH, HEALTHCARE AND PROFESSIONAL ORGANISATIONS, TRAINING INSTITUTIONS AND REGISTRATION BODIES IN THE UNITED KINGDOM, OTHER COMMONWEALTH COUNTRIES AND NON COMMONWEALTH COUNTRIES; TO IMPROVE HEALTHCARE STANDARDS; AND 8. COLLABORATING WITH AND SUPPORT NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANISATIONS (NGOS) THAT REPRESENT ETHNIC MINORITY COMMUNITIES IN ENGLAND AND WALES, TO IMPROVE HEALTHCARE STANDARDS AND PROMOTE COMMUNITY HEALTH INITIATIVES AND SELF-CARE.
