To promote humane behaviour towards animals and livestock throughout the United Kingdom by providing appropriate care for domestic or farm animals which are missing or have strayed from their homes and are therefore suffering and in distress by providing and co-ordinating search and rescue operations and through providing education to domestic animal owners
