Urban Abbey aims to advance Christianity in Nottingham and elsewhere for the benefit of the public, by: 1. hosting prayer meetings, worship, celebrations of Easter and Advent, retreats, religious education, and producing material that helps others to understand the Christian faith; 2. carrying out pastoral care, outreach and missionary work ; 3. holding communal meals and celebrating community.
