FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF BOURNEMOUTH, POOLE AND CHRISTCHURCH (BCP) AND THE SURROUNDING AREA, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT: 1. TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF SAID INHABITANTS THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES OR FOR THE PUBLIC AT LARGE IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITION OF LIFE OF THE SAID INHABITANTS. 2. TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF THOSE WHO ARE IN NEED BY REASON OF FINANCIAL HARDSHIP, AGE, DISABILITY, ILL-HEALTH BY PROVIDING CARE AND SUPPORT PROGRAMMES IN ORDER TO RELIEVE THOSE CHARITABLE NEEDS. 3. THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY BY PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF NECESSARY SUPPORT DESIGNED TO ENABLE THOSE WHO ARE HOMELESS TO GENERATE A SUSTAINABLE INCOME AND BE SELF-SUFFICIENT. 4. TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THROUGH THE PROVISION OF PASTORAL OUTREACH CARE AND SUPPORT PROGRAMS BASED ON CHRISTIAN PRINCIPLES.
