The Object of the CIO is to advance the Christian faith for the benefit of the public by holding church services, prayer meetings and broadcasting Christian messages of an evangelistic and teaching nature with the aim of spreading the gospel of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The Object is to be carried out as a proclamation of the beliefs set out in the Statement of Faith.
