The aims of the Charity are to promote, develop and broaden public appreciation of music and specifically the art of playing the violoncello. It does so by holding concerts or recitals on aspects of cello performance and workshops about the instrument itself, by funding the specialised training of beginners, gifted young cellists up to the age of 18, and of adult learners.
