PRIZE TO BE AWARDED BY THE THE COUNCIL OF THE SOCIETY IN MICHELMAS TERM 1923 AND EVERY SUSUQUENT MICHELMAS TERM TO THE CANDIDATE WHO AT THE FINAL HONORS EXAMINATION IN THAT TERM OR IN THE HILARY EASTER OR TRININTY TERMS RESPECTIVELY OF THE SAME YEAR AS SHOWN HIMSELF BEST ACQUAINTED WITH THE PRINCIPLES OF COMMON LAW OBTAINED AT LEAST TWO-THIRDS OF THE TOTAL MARKS OBTAINABLE IN THAT SUBJECT AND OBTAINED HONORARY DISTINCTION IN THAT SUBJECT. THE PRIZE SHALL NOT BE AWARDED TO ANY CANDIDATE WHO SHALL BE ABOVE THE AGE OF TWENTY SEVEN YEARS ON THE FIRST DAY OF HIS FINAL EXAMINATION.
