1. The Charity’s proposed new objects are: 1.1 The objects of the Charity are the relief of those Beneficiaries who are in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability or other disadvantage by the provision of such financial and other assistance and support as the Trustees see fit from time to time. 1.2 Nothing in this constitution shall authorise an application of the property of the Charity for the purposes which are not charitable in accordance with section 7 of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 and section 2 of the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008. The term Beneficiaries will be defined separately in the Interpretation clause as follows: “a member of the PGA and their dependents (as more particularly defined from time to time by the Trustees in any supplemental Rules)”. “the PGA” is defined as The Professional Golfers’ Association Limited incorporated and registered in England and Wales with registered company number 01861161 and with the registered office address Centenary House, The Belfry, Wishaw, Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, B76 9PT or any such other organisation which shall succeed it.
