(1) SUBJECT TO CLAUSE 3(3) OF THE 2002 SCHEME, THE OBJECT OF THE CHARITY IS THE PROVISION OF HOUSING ACCOMMODATION FOR BENEFICIARIES ("BENEFICIARIES" MEANS POOR SINGLE WOMEN, INCLUDING WIDOWS). (2) THE TRUSTEES MUST GIVE PREFERENCE: (A) FIRSTLY TO BENEFICIARIES WHO ARE COMMUNICANT MEMBERS OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND RESIDENT IN THE TOWN OF DUNSTABLE. (B) SECONDLY TO BENEFICIARIES WHO ARE COMMUNICANT MEMBERS OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND RESIDENT IN THE PARISHES OF KENSWORTH, CADDINGTON, HOUGHTON REGIS, TOTTERNHOE, EATON BRAY AND EDLESBOROUGH. (C) THIRDLY TO BENEFICIARIES RESIDENT IN THE TOWN OF DUNSTABLE. (D) FOURTHLY TO BENEFICIARIES RESIDENT IN THE PARISHES OF KENSWORTH, CADDINGTON, HOUGHTON REGIS, TOTTERNHOE, EATON BRAY AND EDLESBOROUGH. (3) IF AND INSOFAR AS THE INCOME OF THE CHARITY CANNOT BE APPLIED TOWARDS THE OBJECT SPECIFIED IN CLAUSE 3(1) OF THIS SCHEME, THE TRUSTEES MAY APPLY IT FOR THE RELIEF OF BENEFICIARIES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PREFERENCES SPECIFIED IN CLAUSE 3(2). THE TRUSTEES MAY RELIEVE BENEFICIARIES IN NEED BY: (A) MAKING GRANTS OF MONEY TO THEM; OR (B) PROVIDING OR PAYING FOR GOODS, SERVICES OR FACILITIES FOR THEM; OR (C) MAKING GRANTS OF MONEY TO OTHER PERSONS OF BODIES WHO PROVIDE GOODS, SERVICES OR FACILITIES TO THOSE IN NEED.
