(1) TO PROMOTE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT THE PRESERVATION, PROTECTION, DEVELOPMENT AND IMPROVEMENT OF BUILDINGS, LAND OR FEATURES OF PARTICULAR BEAUTY OR HISTORICAL, ARCHITECTURAL OR PUBLIC INTEREST IN OR AROUND WHITSTABLE IN THE COUNTY OF KENT WHICH SHALL HEREINAFTER BE CALLED "THE AREA OF BENEFIT" AND (2) TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE GEOGRAPHY, HISTORY, NATURAL HISTORY AND ARCHITECTURE AND IN PARTICULAR OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT, AND(3) TO PROMOTE ANY OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSE IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT.
