(2) TO ESTABLISH A HARDSHIP FUND FOR THE BENEFIT OF MEMBERS OR FORMER MEMBERS OF THE INSTITUTE ALLOWING THE INSTITUTE TO MAKE PAYMENTS AND/OR ASSIST SUCH MEMBERS OR FORMER MEMBERS OR THEIR DEPENDANTS WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS.
