TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC BY ESTABLISHING AND MAINTAINING A PUBLIC AIR AND SPACE SCIENCES CENTRE AT THE MAIN FACTORY SITE, FARNBOROUGH AERODROME, FARNBOROUGH IN THE COUNTY OF HAMPSHIRE AND TO PRESERVE CERTAIN HISTORIC BUILDINGS AND APPARATUS THEREON AND DOCUMENTS, FILM, ARTEFACTS AND OTHER ITEMS CONNECTED THEREWITH SO AS TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN THE HISTORY AND DEVELOPMENTS OF AVIATION AND SPACE TECHNOLOGY FROM ITS EARLIEST DAYS AND ITS CONTINUING EVOLUTION.
