Formed as a Limited Company in 1994 the Trust became a registered charity 1995. The principle mission and objective of the Trust is to regenerate Amble by taking a lead in most aspects of economic, social and community regeneration in partnership with other agencies to provide the conditions and infrastructure for the restoration of community self-confidence, self esteem and economic prosperity.

Charitable objects
(A) TO PRESERVE PROTECT IMPROVE AND ENHANCE IN ANY WAY FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THE AMENITIES INCLUDING BUILDINGS OR FEATURES OF HISTORIC OR ARCHITECTURAL INTEREST IN THE AREA THE AREA BOUNDED TO THE NORTH BY THE RIVER COQUET TO THE EAST BY THE COASTLINE AND WEST BY TOGSTON AND HAUXLEY PARISH BOUNDARIES, TO INCLUDE THE AREAS KNOWN AS MARINER'S VIEW, GLOSTER HILL, THE BRAID, THE MARINA, AND ADJOINING AREAS (HEREINAFTER KNOWN AS "THE AREA OF BENEFIT") (B) TO BENEFIT THE PUBLIC BY IMPROVING AND BEAUTIFYING THE AREA OF BENEFIT.
