Charitable objects
TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE HEALTH AND PROMOTE THE WELFARE OF PEOPLE WITH CRANIOSYNOSTOSIS AND RARE CRANIOFACIAL CONDITIONS BY: (1) PROVIDING SUPPORT THROUGHOUT THEIR LIFE TO OVERCOME THE PHYSICAL, PSYCHOLOGICAL AND SOCIAL IMPACTS OF LIVING WITH THESE CONDITIONS; (2) FACILITATING RESEARCH THAT SEEKS TO ADVANCE UNDERSTANDING, ENSURES THE PROVISION OF QUALITY CARE, AND IDENTIFIES THE BEST TREATMENTS FOR CRANIOSYNOSTOSIS AND RARE CRANIOFACIAL CONDITIONS; AND (3) RAISING AWARENESS AND EDUCATING PEOPLE TO IMPROVE PUBLIC UNDERSTANDING OF CRANIOSYNOSTOSIS AND RARE CRANIOFACIAL CONDITIONS. NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CHARITY FOR PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005 AND/OR SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008.
