Charitable objects
CHARITIES AND THEIR ENDOWMENTS SHALL BE DIVIDED INTO THREE BRANCHES-: ALMSHOUSE, CHURCH AND QUEEN MARY'S ALMSMEN. (A) INCOME OF THE ALMSHOUSE BRANCH SHALL BE FOR THE BENEFIT OF ALMSPEOPLE OF THE CHARITIES WHO SHALL BE POOR PERSONS OF GOOD CHARACTER WHO HAVE RESIDED IN THE BOROUGH FOR NOT LESS THAN TWO YEARS NEXT PRECEDING THE TIME OF APPOINTMENT. (B) INCOME OF THE CHURCH BRANCH SHALL BE APPLY-: A) FOR THE REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OF THE FABRIC OF ABBEY CHURCH OF TEWKESBURY, B) FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE VICAR OF THE SAID CHURCH AND C) FOR THE UPKEEP OF THE TOMB OF CHARLES WYNDE AND HIS WIFE. (C) INCOME OF THE QUEEN MARY'S ALMSMEN SHALL BE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THIRTEEN APPOINTED POOR MEN OF GOOD CHARACTER IN THE BOROUGH.
