(1) TO GIVE AND GRANT RELIEF AND ASSISTANCE OF ANY DESCRIPTION INCLUDING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO ANY PERSONS SUFFERING FROM LEPROSY, OR THE FAMILY OR DEPENDANTS OF SUCH PERSONS THROUGHOUT THE WORLD; (2) TO CARRY OUT OR FUND THE INVESTIGATION AND RESEARCH OF THE CAUSES, TREATMENT, CURE AND PREVENTION OF THE DISEASE OF LEPROSY AND ALLIED DISEASES; (3) TO CARRY OUT OR FUND THE PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION OF THOSE ENGAGED IN THE DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF LEPROSY.
