Charitable objects
TO RELIEVE EITHER GENERALLY OR INDIVIDUALLY PERSONS RESIDENT IN THE AREA OF THE CITY OF GLOUCESTER AS CONSTITUTED FROM TIME TO TIME WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS. THE TRUSTEES MAY APPLY A SUM OF 10,000 OR SUCH OTHER SUM IN OR TOWARDS PROVIDING ALMSHOUSES FOR OCCUPATION BY POOR PERSONS RESIDENT IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT.
