THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE: A) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF ALL PERSONS IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT, INCLUDING CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE, IN THE PRINCIPLES OF TOTAL ABSTINENCE FROM ALCOHOLIC DRINKS AND IN RESPECT OF THE DANGERS OF DRUG, ALCOHOL AND OTHER SUBSTANCE ADDICTION AND ABUSE; AND B) TO RELIEVE SICKNESS AND PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE GOOD HEALTH OF ALL PERSONS IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT WHO ARE IN DANGER OF BECOMING ADDICTED TO, OR DEPENDENT UPON, ALCOHOL, ILLEGAL DRUGS OF ANY DESCRIPTION, SOLVENTS AND OTHER ADDICTIVE SUBSTANCES; AND C) TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF INDIVIDUALS IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABILITY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL CIRCUMSTANCES WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE. ANY SUCH FACILITIES MUST BE PROVIDED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PRINCIPLES OF TEMPERANCE.
