Charitable objects

THE OBJECT OF THE CHARITY SHALL BE TO BENEFIT YOUNG WOMEN AND GIRLS RESIDING IN THE CITY OF YORK AND ITS NEIGHBOURHOOD WHO ARE IN NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS. THIS MAY BE ACHIEVED IN THE FOLLOWING WAYS: A) IN MAKING GRANTS TO PROVIDE ARTICLES, SERVICES, ACCOMMODATION OR OTHER FACILITIES TO INDIVIDUALS IN NEED. B) IN PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN PROVIDING FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE. C) IN MAKING DONATIONS TO CHARITABLE ORGANISATIONS MAKING SUCH PROVISION.
