Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, TO MAKE INTEREST FREE LOANS (THE AMOUNT OF WHICH, THE REPAYMENT PERIOD AND OTHER CONDITIONS OR REGULATIONS ARE TO BE DETERMINED FROM TIME TO TIME BY THE TRUSTEES) OR GRANTS FOR THE PURPOSE OF ESTABLISHING IN THEIR CHOSEN OCCUPATION OR WAY OF LIFE, PERSONS OF NOT MORE THAN 45 YEARS OF AGE WHO ARE RESIDENT, EMPLOYED OR CARRYING ON BUSINESS IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT, WITH A PREFERENCE FOR THOSE IN THE CITY OF LEICESTER, PROVIDED THAT THE CHARITY SHALL ONLY MAKE GRANTS OUT OF ANY ASSETS OF THE CHARITY WHICH, IN THE OPINION OF THE TRUSTEES, ARE NOT CAPABLE OF BEING USED EFFECTIVELY BY THE CHARITY FOR THE PURPOSES OF MEETING DEMAND FOR LOANS ON THE PART OF BENEFICIARIES IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT.
