Charitable objects
FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE ALMSPEOPLE OF THE CHARITY OR ANY OF THEM IN SUCH MANNER AS THE TRUSTEES THINK FIT. THE ALMSPEOPLE SHALL BE POOR PERSONS OF GOOD CHARACTER WHO ARE PAST THEIR LABOUR AND WHO (EXCEPT IN SPECIAL CASES APPROVED BY THE CHARITY COMMISSIONERS) ARE RESIDENT AT THE TIME OF APPOINTMENT IN THE ECCLESIASTICAL PARISH OF IGHTFIELD AND CALVERHALL OR THE IMMEDIATE NEIGHBOURHOOD THEREOF.
