Charitable objects
(1) SUBJECT TO THE PAYMENT OF THE EXPENCES AFORESAID THE TRUSTEES SHALL APPLY THE INCOME OF THE CHARITY FOR THE PURPOSE OF RELIEVING IN CASES OF NEED PERSONS WHO ARE SICK, CONVALESCENT, DISABLED, HANDICAPPED OR INFIRMED BY PROVIDING OR PAYING FOR ITEMS, SERVICES OR FACILITIES WHICH ARE CALCULATED TO ALLEVIATE THE SUFFERING OR ASSIST THE RECOVERY OF SUCH PERSONS IN SUCH CASES BUT ARE NOT READILY AVAILABLE TO THEM FROM OTHER SOURCES. PREFERENCE SHALL BE GIVEN TO PERSONS IN NEED WHO ARE CONVALESCENT. (2) THE TRUSTEES MAY MAKE ARRANGEMENTS FOR SUCH SERVICES OR FACILITIES TO BE PROVIDED FOR THAT PURPOSE BY ANY OTHER INSTITUTIONS OR ORGANISATIONS IN RETURN FOR DONATIONS OR SUBSCRIPTIONS OUT OF THE INCOME OF THE CHARITY. (3) IN APPLYING THE INCOME OF THE CHARITY THE TRUSTEES SHALL NOT COMMIT THEMSELVES TO REPEAT OR RENEW THE RELIEF GRANTED ON ANY OCCASION IN ANY CASE.
