THE CULTIVATION AND PROMOTION OF ALL BRANCHES OF MEDICINE AND OF ALL RELATED SCIENCES CONNECTED WITH THEM, INCLUDING THE CONTINUED SUPPORT OF THE MEDICAL LIBRARY FOUNDED BY THE ORIGINAL MANCHESTER MEDICAL SOCIETY AND PRESENTED TO THE VICTORIA UNIVERSITY OF MANCHESTER IN 1930.
