Charitable objects
FOR THE BENEFIT OF LEARNED AND NECESSITOUS JEWS OF THE COUNTRY OF ISRAEL WITH A PREFERENCE FOR PERSONS QUALIFIED AS AFORESAID WHO ARE RESIDENT IN THE CITIES OF JERUSALEM, SAFET, AND TIBERIAS; PROVIDED THAT IN APPLYING THE SAID INCOME THE MANAGING TRUSTEES MAY TAKE THE ADVICE OF THE HAHAM BASHI AND CHIEF RABBI OF THE GERMAN CONGREGATION FOR THE TIME BEING OF EACH OF THE SAID CITIES AND SUCH OTHER ECCLESIASTICAL AND LAY ELDERS IN ISRAEL AS THEY THINK FIT.
