Charitable objects
1. TO PROMOTE AND ASSIST THE GENERAL GOOD OF ALL OLD PEOPLE IN THE BENEFICIAL AREA BY ASSISTING THE WORK OF STATUTORY AUTHORITIES AND VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS ENGAGED IN PROVIDING FACILITIES FOR PHYSICAL AND MENTAL RECREATION, DEVELOPING PHYSICAL IMPROVEMENT, FURTHERING HEALTH, RELIEVING POVERTY, DISTRESS OR SICKNESS, AND IN PURSUING ANY OBJECTS WHICH NOW ARE OR HEREAFTER MAY BE DEEMED BY LAW TO BE CHARITABLE. 2. TO PROVIDE AND MANAGE THE RESIDENTIAL HOME FOR OLD PEOPLE AT PRESENT KNOWN AS HILLBROOK GRANGE AND MAKE PROVISION FOR OTHER FACILITIES FOR THE ELDERLY AS MAY BE DEEMED BY THE COMMITTEE TO BE NECESSARY.
