Charitable objects

TO PROMOTE THE SCIENCE OF BOTANY AND WITH THAT OBJECT TO PRINT, PUBLISH, SELL AND DISTRIBUTE THE PUBLICATION KNOWN AS "THE ANNALS OF BOTANY", AND ANY OTHER BOOKS, REPORTS, MAGAZINES AND PERIODICALS RELATING TO BOTANY, AND TO ACQUIRE AND EXERCISE ANY RIGHTS IN RELATION THERETO, AND TO MAKE GRANTS FOR THE PROSECUTION OF BOTANICAL RESEARCH AND BOTANICAL TRAVEL; AND FROM TIME TO TIME TO EMPLOY SUCH OTHER MEANS AS THE COMPANY SHALL CONSIDER CONDUCIVE TO THE PROMOTION OF BOTANICAL SCIENCE.
