We provide and maintain a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of Long Ditton and the neighbourhood thereof without distinction of politics, religious or other opinions, including use for meetings, lectures and classes, and for other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

Charitable objects
1)THE PROVISION AND MAINTENANCE OF A VILLAGE HALL FOR THE USE OF THE INHABITANTS OF LONG DITTON AND THE NEIGHBOURHOOD THEREOF(THE AREA OF BENEFIT) WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF POLITICAL,RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS,INCLUDING USE FOR MEETINGS LECTURES AND CLASSES AND FOR OTHER FORMS OF RECREATION AND LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS. 2)THE SAID LAND AND BUILDINGS SHALL BE HELD UPON TRUST FOR THE PURPOSES OF A VILLAGE HALL AS AFORESAID: PROVIDED THAT THE TRUSTEES SHALL PERMIT THE SAID LAND AND BUILDINGS TO BE USED ONCE A WEEK RENT-FREE FOR ECCLESIASTICAL AND OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND BY THE INCUMBENT OR THE PRIEST-IN-CHARGE FOR THE TIME BEING OF THE BENEFICE OF ST.MARY,LONG DITTON.
