Charitable objects
ALMSHOUSES FOR POOR PERSONS OF GOOD CHARACTER WHO (EXCEPT IN SPECIAL CASES TO BE APPROVED BY THE CHARITY COMMISSIONERS) HAVE RESIDED IN THE AREA OF THE PARISH OH HORNCHURCH AS CONSTITUTED ON 1 JUNE 1932 FOR NOT LESS THAN TWO YEARS NEXT PRECEDING THE TIME OF APPOINTMENT.
IF ON THE OCCASION OF A VACANCY THERE ARE NO SUITABLE APPLICANTS HAVING THE RESIDENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AFORESAID THE TRUSTEES MAY APPOINT A PERSON OTHERWISE QUALIFIED WHO IS RESIDENT IN THE LONDON BOROUGH OF HAVERING AT THE TIME OF APPOINTMENT
