DEED OF 20TH FEBRUARY 1605 (PR VOL 24 PAGE 145) AND REGULATIONS AS AMENDED 1952 AND 1967 AND 1991
Charitable objects
(1)AFTER PAYMENT OF ANY EXPENSES OF ADMINISTRATION, THE TRUSTEES SHALL APPLY THE NET INCOME OF THE CHARITY IN ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING WAYS:- (A)IN AWARDING TO BENEFICIARIES BURSARIES OR MAINTENANCE ALLOWANCES TENABLE AT ANY SCHOOL, UNIVERSITY OR OTHER INSTITUTIONS HIGHER OR FURTHER (INCLUDING PROFESSIONAL OR TECHNICAL) EDUCATION APPROVED BY THE TRUSTEES. (B)IN PROVIDING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR THE PURCHASE OF TOOLS, INSTRUMENTS OR BOOKS TO ENABLE BENEFICIARIES TO BETTER PURSUE THEIR EDUCATION AND TRAINING AT SUCH INSTITUTIONS REFERRED TO IN (A) ABOVE. (C)IN PROVIDING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO ENABLE BENEFICIARIES TO STUDY MUSIC OR OTHER ARTS. (D)IN AWARDING MAINTENANCE ALLOWANCES TO ENABLE BENEFICIARIES TO TRAVEL ABROAD TO PURSUE THEIR EDUCATION. (E)IN OTHERWISE PROMOTING THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING (INCLUDING TRAINING FOR EMPLOYMENT) OF BENEFICIARIES. (F)FOR ANY OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSE PERMITTED BY THE DEED OF TRUST OF 20 FEBRUARY 1605.
