WE ARE A HOSPITAL LEAGUE OF FRIENDS. WE RAISE FUNDS MAINLY THROUGH A SHOP SELLING DONATED SECOND HAND ITEMS (ALL STAFFED VOLUNTARILY), AND SUPPORT THE TYRELL HOSPITAL PATIENTS OR OUTPATIENTS AND THOSE ATTENDING ANY LOCAL CLINICS BY PROVIDING EQUIPMENT/ITEMS FUNDING PROJECTS OR TRAINING.

Charitable objects
2.1 THE RELIEF OF ALL PATIENTS IN THE CATCHMENT AREA OF THE TYRRELL HOSPITAL ILFRACOMBE (THE HOSPITAL) BOTH WITHIN THE HOSPITAL AND THE COMMUNITY WHO ARE SICK, CONVALESCENT, DISABLED OR INFIRM BY PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF EQUIPMENT, FACILITIES AND SERVICES NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE STATUTORY AUTHORITIES AND ANCILLARY TO THOSE PROVIDED BY THE HOSPITAL OR HEALTH SERVICE. 2.2 TO SUPPORT THE WORK OF THE HOSPITAL, BY PROVIDING EXTRA CARE AND COMFORT FOR PATIENTS, VISITORS AND STAFF.
