Charitable objects
1. TO PROTECT AND RESTORE LIFE IN COMMUNITIES AFFECTED BY DISASTERS OR EMERGENCIES. 2. TO ACT IN SUPPORT OF AND IN CO-OPERATION WITH THE POLICE, FIRE BRIGADE, MOUNTAIN RESCUE, LIFE-BOAT AND OTHER EMERGENCY SERVICES IN TIMES OF DISASTER AND EMERGENCY. 3. IN TIMES OF WAR AND NATIONAL EMERGENCY, TO AID THE ARMED FORCES OF THE CROWN IN ALL POSSIBLE WAYS AND IN PARTICULAR BY ENCOURAGING MEMBERS OF THE COMMAND AND OTHERS TO ENLIST IN THE ARMED OR SUPPORTING FORCES. 4. TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL AND OTHER ASSISTANCE TO AGED AND INFIRM MEMBERS BEING IN NEED OF ASSISTANCE AND TO WIVES, WIDOWS AND CHILDREN OF MEMBERS BEING IN NEED OF ASSISTANCE; AND 5. TO INSTRUCT YOUNG PERSONS BETWEEN THE AGES OF 14 AND 18 IN THE PRINCIPLES OF DISCIPLINE, LOYALTY AND GOOD CITIZENSHIP BY ENCOURAGING THEM TO PARTICIPATE AS MEMBERS OF THE COMMAND IN THE CARRYING OUT OF THE AFORESAID PURPOSES..
