TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN THE DRAMATIC ARTS TO FURTHER THE DEVELOPMENT OF PUBLIC APPRECIATION AND TASTE IN THE SAID ARTS AND IN PARTICULAR IN THE WORKS OF SIR WILLIAM GILBERT AND SIR ARTHUR SULLIVAN AND TO ASSIST AND FURTHER SUCH CHARITABLE INSTITUTIONS AND CHARITABLE INSTITUTIONS AND CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS THE GENERAL COMMITTEE SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE.
