THE TRUSTEES SHALL HOLD THE SAID PREMISES UPON TRUST FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE VILLAGE AND PARISH OF STAPLEHURST IN THE COUNTY OF KENT AND FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF LITERATURE SCIENCE AND ART IN STAPLEHURST AFORESAID WITH POWER TO ESTABLISH SOCIETIES THEREIN AND MAKE SUCH CHARGES FOR MEMBERSHIP OF ANY SUCH SOCIETIES.
