Charitable objects
1. TO PROVIDE MEANS FOR ASSISTING PERSONS WHO SHALL BE DESIROUS OF TAKING HOLY ORDERS IN ANY CHURCH COMPRISED IN THE ANGLICAN COMMUNION AND SHALL BE APPROVED BY THE TRUSTEES AS SUITABLE PERSONS HAVING REGARD TO THEIR CHARACTER AND EDUCATION TO RECEIVE SUCH ASSISTANCE TO ENTER UPON OF FOLLOW OR COMPLETE A COURSE OF THEOLOGICAL STUDY AT A THEOLOGICAL COLLEGE APPROVED BY THE TRUSTEES OR IN SUCH OTHER PLACE OR UNDER SUCH DIRECTION AS THE TRUSTEES MAY UNDER THE CIRCUMSTANCES OF EACH CASE THINK PROPER WHICH BY REASON OF POVERTY THEY WOULD OTHERWISE BO UNABLE TO ENTER UPON, FOLLOW OR COMPLETE. 2. IF AFTER MAKING SUITABLE PROVISION FOR CANDIDATES QUALIFIES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TERMS OF THE SAID WILL, THE TRUSTEES HAVE INCOME AVAILABLE, THEY MAY EXTEND THE BENEFITS OF THE FOUNDATION TO CANDIDATES, OTHERWISE QUALIFIED AS REQUIRED BY THE SAID WILL, A) WHO HAVE BEEN ORDAINED, WHETHER AS DEACONS OR AS PRIEST, TO ENABLE THEM TO PURSUE THEIR STUDIES IN THEOLOGY OR RELATED SUBJECTS IN SUCH MANNER AS THE TRUSTEES MAY APPROVE, AND B) WHO ARE MEMBERS OF ANY CHURCH COMPRISES IN THE ANGLICAN COMMUNION.
