Nottinghamshire Community Foundation is an independent charity, set up to administer local charitable giving. Our unique approach to philanthropy allows individuals and businesses to support their own specific local interests and causes and in doing so invest in the future of their community. We have given over 25 million in grants to our communities over the past 15 years

Charitable expenditure

Some charities generate all, or a substantial part, of their income from investments which may have been donated to the charity as endowment or set aside by the charity from its own resources in the past.
