Charitable objects
(1) TO PROVIDE IN EMERGENCY AND OTHER CIRCUMSTANCES WHERE APPROPRIATE, FINANCIAL HELP BY WAY OF GIFT OR LOAN, TO ANY MEMBER OR FORMER MEMBER OF THE DSFA OR ANY MEMBERS OF THEIR FAMILY WHO IS IN FINANCIAL OR OTHER DIFFICULTIES, AND DOES NOT RECEIVE ADEQUATE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FROM THE FOREIGN & COMMONWEALTH OFFICE WELFARE FUND (FCOWF) OR FROM ANY OTHER SOURCE. (2) TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO OTHER CHARITABLE ORGANISATIONS FROM WHICH MEMBERS AND/OR THEIR FAMILIES OR FORMER MEMBERS AND/OR THEIR FAMILIES MAY BENEFIT FROM TIME TO TIME.
