Charitable objects
TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF PRIMARILY BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE RESIDENTS OF NORTH BENWELL, THE WEST END OF NEWCASTLE, AND SURROUNDING AREAS IN THE COUNTIES OF TYNE AND WEAR, COUNTY DURHAM AND NORTHUMBERLAND, FACING SIMILAR DEPRIVATION, WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO ANY UNDER-REPRESENTED AND MARGINALISED GROUPS INCLUDING ETHNIC MINORITIES AND WOMEN, BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER THE SAID INHABITANTS, THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO PROVIDE FACILITIES AND EDUCATION IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF THE SAID INHABITANTS AND TO RELIEVE THE FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OF THOSE IN NEED, IN PARTICULAR THOSE WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED, THROUGH THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES AND SERVICES AS THE TRUSTEES THINK FIT.
