Activities - how the charity spends its money
To enable local/tourists and schoolchildren to discover the secrets of the Wash and its wildlife with film shows, exhibitions, hands-on-displays, bird watching gallery, reference library and field trips covering modules for schools. The Green Quay Trust transferred its assets and undertakings to the Marriott's Warehouse trust in September 2013.

Charitable objects
1. TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC BY ESTABLISHING OR ASSISTING IN THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A GALLERY, EXHIBITION AND INTERPRETATION CENTRE BASED IN MARRIOTT'S WAREHOUSE AND MAINTAIN, ADMINISTER AND PROMOTE THE SAID GALLERY, EXHIBITION AND INTERPRETATION CENTRE DEVOTED TO LOCAL AND NATURAL HISTORY AND ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE AND IN PARTICULAR TO PROMOTE AND ADVANCE ENVIRONMENTAL KNOWLEDGE CONCERNING THE WASH, FENS AND NORTH NORFOLK COASTAL AREAS OF NORFOLK, CAMBRIDGESHIRE AND LINCOLNSHIRE AND THE SOUTHERN NORTH SEA FOR THE BENEFIT AND EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC AT LARGE AND TO PROMOTE STUDY AND RESEARCH IN RELATION TO THE GEOGRAPHICAL AREA. 11. TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE IN ALL ITS BRANCHES AND TO IMPROVE THE AWARENESS AND KNOWLEDGE OF THE GEOGRAPHICAL AREA BY PROMOTING PUBLIC LECTURES AND EXHIBITIONS 111. ANY OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE GENERAL BENEFIT OF THE GEOGRAPHICAL AREA FOR WHICH PROVISION IS NOT MADE FROM PUBLIC RATES AND TAXES AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL THINK FIT.
