Activities - how the charity spends its money
The Armed Forces Memorial in Staffordshire is dedicated to UK Armed Forces personnel killed on duty or as a result of terrorist action since 1 January 1948. A memorial (with no names) to Service personnel killed in conflicts has been erected in the Cloisters of Westminster Abbey. Rolls of Honour listing those who have died will be kept in the three military churches in London.

Charitable objects
1) TO PROMOTE THE MILITARY EFFICIENCY OF THE ARMED FORCES IN PARTICULAR BY PROVIDING AND MAINTAINING A MEMORIAL OR MEMORIALS TO THOSE SERVICE PERSONNEL WHO HAVE DIED DURING SERVICE SINCE THE END OF THE SECOND WORLD WAR AND THEREBY ENCOURAGING PUBLIC RECOGNITION OF THE SACRIFICE MADE BY SUCH PERSONS. 2) IF AND SO FAR AS THE TRUST FUND AND ITS INCOME IS NOT REQUIRED TO BE APPLIED TOWARDS THE OBJECTS SPECIFIED IN CLAUSE B(1) ABOVE, THE TRUSTEES MAY APPLY IT TO PROVIDE RELIEF FOR SERVING OR FORMER SERVICE PERSONNEL AND THEIR DEPENDANTS WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS.
