Charitable objects
(A) TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE SILVERTOWN AND NORTH WOOLWICH AREAS OF THE LONDON BOROUGH OF NEWHAM AND ADJOINING AREAS WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE, POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER THE RESIDENTS OF THE AREA OF BENEFIT, THE LOCAL AND OTHER PUBLIC AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE, THE ADVANCEMENT OF OF EDUCATION, RECREATION AND LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS. (B) TO OPERATE A COMMUNITY CENTRE IN ALBERT ROAD, LONDON E16 KNOWN AS ST JOHN'S COMMUNITY CENTRE AND TO MAINTAIN AND MANAGE THE SAME (WHETHER ALONE OR IN CO-OPERATION WITH ANY LOCAL AUTHORITY OR OTHER BODY OR PERSON) FOR ACTIVITIES PROMOTE BY THE COMPANY AND ITS CONSTITUENT BODIES IN FURTHERANCE OF THE ABOVE OBJECTS.
