TO ACQUIRE, ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN A CHURCH CENTRE ("THE ROOM") TO BE USED FOR SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES HAVING IN VIEW THE SPIRITUAL, INTELLECTUAL MORAL AND SOCIAL NEEDS OF THE POPULATION OF THE PARISHES COMPRISED WITHIN THE GROUP OR ANY OF THEM AS THE COMMITTEE SHALL DECIDE AND IN PARTICULAR MEETINGS, GROUPS, CLASSES, LECTURES AND FUNCTIONS FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION PROVIDED THAT THE ROOM SHALL NOT BE USED FOR ANY PURPOSE INIMICAL TO THE WELFARE OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND
