TO PROMOTE AND SUPPORT THE CHARITABLE PURPOSES OF THE CANTERBURY THEATRE AND FESTIVAL TRUST, A CHARITABLE COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE (COMPANY NUMBER 1480595) AND REGISTERED AS A CHARITY UNDER CHARITY NUMBER 27914 ("THE FESTIVAL"), AND TO APPLY THE INCOME AND, IN THE DISCRETION OF THE DIRECTORS, THE CAPITAL OF THE FOUNDATION TO OR FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE FESTIVAL.
