This trust was set up to preserve and conserve Sandycombe Lodge, the Twickenham home of J.M.W. Turner, as a monument to the artist. Access is provided for groups and individuals to visit this building to advance education in the arts for the benefit of the public with the aim of promoting wider knowledge of the work of Turner in this area.
