Charitable objects
THE ADVOCACY SCHEME WILL ATTEMPT TO EMPOWER ADULTS WITH DISABILITIES TO TAKE CONTROL OF THEIR LIVES BY:- 1. ENABLING INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES, WHO HAVE DIFFICULTIES IN COMMUNICATION, TO EXPRESS THEIR CONCERNS, WISHES AND PREFERENCES BY PROVIDING A CITIZEN ADVICE SERVICE 2. ENCOURAGING INDIVIDUALS TO ADVOCATE FOR THEMSELVES 3. ENABLING INDIVIDUALS TO MAKE INFORMED CHOICES AND SUPPORTING INDIVIDUALS TO EXERCISE THEIR RIGHTS AND GAIN ACCEPTANCE INTO LIFE OF THE COMMUNITY 4. PROVIDING PRACTICAL AND EMOTIONAL SUPPORT TO INDIVIDUALS
