The Shropshire Islamic Foundation (SIF) provides Islamic education & community prayer facilities to the people of Telford and the surrounding areas. Premises include Telford Central Mosque, King St, and Tan Bank Mosque, both in Wellington. Services includes a boys & girls evening school, various weekend social and community events mainly via Shropshire and Telford United Women's Association.

THE OBJECTS ARE: 2.3 (I) TO ADVANCE THE ISLAMIC RELIGION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TEACHINGS OF THE HOLY QU'RAN AND THE TEACHINGS OF THE PROPHET MUHAMMAD (PEACE BE UPON HIM). ALSO TO FURTHER ISLAMIC EDUCATION INCLUDING THE TEACHING OF THE ARABIC LANGUAGE. 2.4 (2) TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF PEOPLE OF ALL AGES AND FAITHS LIVING IN SHROPSHIRE TO DEVELOP THEIR INTELLECTUAL, PHYSICAL, ECONOMIC AND SPIRITUAL CAPACITIES. IN SO DOING TO PROMOTE EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES, GOOD COMMUNITY RELATIONS AND RELIGIOUS TOLERANCE.
