Charitable objects
THE CHARITY'S OBJECTS ARE TO ADVANCE, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC, EDUCATION OF JOURNALISTS, MEDIA DECISION-MAKERS, EDUCATORS AND OTHER INTERESTED PERSONS IN MATTERS OF PUBLIC CONCERN, SUCH AS EQUALITY, DIVERSITY, ACCOUNTABILITY AND HUMAN RIGHTS (AS SET OUT IN THE UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS AND SUBSEQUENT INSTRUMENTS) AND INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION, BY PROMOTING: 3.1 FREE, ACCURATE AND RESPONSIBLE MEDIA COVERAGE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD; AND 3.2 TRAINING IN THE SAFETY AND HEALTH OF JOURNALISTS AND OTHER PERSONNEL EXPOSED TO DANGER AS A RESULT OF MEDIA ACTIVITY IN AREAS OF CONFLICT.
